What Is PLAWASH Connect?
PLAWASH Connect is an institutional initiative of the Peruvian Lawyers Association in Washington, DC. (PLAWASH), a non-profit professional association, created for educational, professional, and community-focused purposes. Its goal is to support the professional development of itsmembers and to promote the dissemination of knowledge of general interest to the community.
The initiative was originally conceived under the name “PLAWASH Professional Global,” a project focused on continuing education, professional mentorship, knowledge sharing, and the academic and professional development of Peruvian lawyers in the United States and internationally.
After the proposal was presented, PLAWASH members expressed strong interest and recommended updating the name to one that was more modern, accessible, and easier to communicate. As a result, PLAWASH Connect was established, while preserving the purpose, values, and objectives of the original project.

PLAWASH Connect serves as a platform for learning, collaboration, and professional engagement, fully aligned with PLAWASH’s mission and non-profit nature.
What Does PLAWASH Connect Offer?Institutional Message
PLAWASH Connect develops activities of an informational, educational, and academic nature, including:
- Professional talks and educational workshops
- Spaces for sharing experiences and best practices
- Community-focused educational activities
- Opportunities for institutional participation and leadership among members
Activities may be offered in person or virtually, in accordance with institutional planning and available resources.
